About the job

As Project Engineer at Argent Energy will be responsible for the site infrastructure designs including, site layouts, road layouts, site logistics, drainage designs, cut and fill assessments, electrical ducting infrastructure and drawings to relevant standards.

You will be an active player in all stages of our project from basic design to construction completion and have the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary sub-contractors. You will be working as a part of a project team, but we expect you to be able to work independently and be responsible for your own work both quality and accuracy point of view.

Your responsibility will be to checking and monitoring engineering offices, sub-contractors, field technicians and field installation works.

Requirements

You recognize yourself in the following competencies: highly organised with attention to details, ambitious, quality-conscious, multi-tasking, resilient attitude, 'out of the box' thinker and a teamplayer. 



You also bring:

  • A completed bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering or similar with at least 5 years of industrial work experience;
  • Experience with AutoCad, Cadmatic and AutoCad Plant 3D;
  • Oil & Gas industry and/or Energy Plants and/or Chemical Plants experience is an advantage;
  • Experience in working with building companies;
  • Experience of using excel and Auto Cad to advanced level;
  • Experience of checking and verifying calculations for concrete foundation, steel structures;
  • Additional Experience of verifying mechanical process equipment calculations; 
  • Familiar with the relevant NEN and EN norms;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
